Bride
Brett is my best friend. He is charming, reliable, thoughtful, God-loving, and sensitive all in one big, attractive, manly package. He supports my big ideas and ambitions and makes me laugh harder than anyone else. It feels surreal to know that I get to walk through the rest of life with him.
Groom
Sarah is my better half. She is gifted in many areas where I am not. She remembers every birthday, gives the best gifts and makes up for my complete lack of creativeness. She is one of the most thoughtful people I have ever met, and I cannot wait to spend my life with her.
Maid of Honor
Emily was born about three months before me, and I have genuinely never known a day without her. Since childhood, she has been on just about every family vacation and has been there for every holiday. Surprisingly, we have never gone to the same school, and we even became college rivals, she went to UF, and I went to FSU. Emily currently lives in Newport Beach, CA where she works for A21 as the Supporter Engagement Administrator. I am so honored that Emily is able to keep her childhood promise of being my Maid of Honor now! We currently are separated by 3 time zones, but I know she will always be my best friend. She is someone that I can go days without talking to and still pick up right where we left off. I cherish our 25-year friendship and her beautiful, strong heart.
Best Man
Bart is from Jacksonville, FL, currently lives and works in Jacksonville, and may one day be the mayor of Jacksonville. I met Bart my Freshman year of college when he rushed Pi Kapp in the spring. We shared lots of common values and interests and quickly became best friends. Even though Bart is older than me, he became my little brother in the fraternity. Bart and I have been best friends since, and keep in touch through monthly text messages as most guys do. When we can get together now, we enjoy beer, cigars, talking football, and playing golf (terribly). Bart enjoys all things Jacksonville, Seminoles football, and spending time with family and friends.
Bridesmaid
I met Taylor my sophomore year when she rushed Tri Delta. She was first my bid day buddy and later became my little sister in the sorority. We shared a lot of common interests and quickly became best friends. Although Taylor has yet to adopt one of her own, she has an obsession with one of the oddest-looking dogs, the pug. Taylor can often be seen carrying something with a pug on it, scouting out the best sushi spots, and sending ridiculous memes at random. Taylor has known Brett and me since we started dating, and affectionately calls us "mom and dad." She currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she works for CBRE as a Sales Analyst. Although she will always be my little, today she is one of my best friends.
Groomsman
Kevin is from France and grew up in Palm Desert, CA. He currently lives in Corpus Christi, TX, where he is a Naval flight student training to fly the P8-Poseidon. Kevin and I met during the first part of flight school in Pensacola and were in a study group together. We quickly became good friends and decided to get an apartment together for the next part of flight school since he and his roommate, Kris, were looking for a third roommate. We adopted the shared name of Krevitt (Kris+Kevin+Brett) and completed Primary Flight Training Together. Kevin's passions include surfing, golf, working out, his family, and his set of Cast Irons.
BRIDESMAID & SISTER OF THE GROOM
I met Amy nearly four and a half years ago when I visited Brett’s family in Orlando for the first time. Truthfully, I was extremely nervous. I knew that Brett and Amy were super close, and he valued her insight. Now, I’m completely over the moon because I really couldn’t be gaining a sweeter sister-in-law. However, against Brett and my valiant efforts, Amy still hates to shop and even became a Gator. Despite our different interests, we have yet to have a phone conversation last under an hour and a half which I have taken as a good sign. Amy currently attends UF in Gainesville, FL where she studies Plant Science. Although she claims to be a homebody, she has never spent a summer in Florida since starting college and can often be found in Spain visiting her boyfriend, Pepe.
Groomsman
Dan and I met through an all Greek Bible study in college and served on the leadership team together. We were in different fraternities but were able to put aside our differences and get along. Since meeting our Sophomore year, we have followed the same path in life. We graduated college together, attended Officer Candidate School a few months apart, moved to Pensacola for flight training, and started training in the T6 with the VT-3 Red Knights. Dan is still in Pensacola training, but given how things have been, will probably be in Kingsville with me soon. Dan's personality can best be described as that of a Golden Retriever. He is one of the most outgoing people I have ever met and has always been a great friend.
Bridesmaid
I met Kenzie during my first year at FSU when we rushed Tri Delta. We grew up in the same hometown just down the street from each other but didn’t meet until college. Since then, Kenzie has become one of my best friends. Briefly following college Kenzie moved to ATL for an internship where she quickly realized that she could not wear her vast swimsuit collection for half the year. It didn’t take long for her to move back to the sunshine state where she can remarkably eat a Big Mac, skip the gym, and maintain the figure of a model. Kenzie currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she works at CBRE as a Financial Analyst. However, Kenzie is an FM girl at heart and is my only local friend who aspires to live there permanently.
GROOMSMAN & BROTHER OF THE GROOM
Ben is my not so little brother who is somehow over 6 feet tall. He currently lives in Orlando, and just finished up High School at The Master's Academy. In the Fall, he will be heading up to Tallahassee for school. Ben was able to land a much better first job than either my sister or me by getting in at Chick-fil-a, where he will spend his summer working in the back of the house. In his downtime, Ben mostly enjoys relaxing at home. Ben is usually quiet in family group texts but will be the first to screenshot and post the data plan usage numbers when someone is using more than their share. When Ben and I hang out now, we typically bond over watching TV, gaming, and occasionally picking on our Sister.
Bridesmaid
Courtney was my pledge sister and later became one of my best friends from college. It’s true when they say opposites attract because we quickly became close friends and chose to be roommates the following year despite our clean and messy dichotomies. Courtney was one of the few people to know Brett and me individually before we became a couple. Thinking back, I think Courtney knew I had a crush long before I would admit it. She has always had uncanny intuition which is a reason she is one of my closest confidants. However, it can be difficult to confide in her when she rarely answers her phone. Courtney currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she is perusing her Masters in Orientation and Mobility while working at Light House of the Blind as a teacher of the visually impaired.
Groomsman
Jason, commonly referred to as "Hos," has been one of my best friends since middle school. We grew up down the street from each other, and at times he was the only friend in the neighborhood that did not drive me crazy. Jason is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, and he is currently pursuing his CPA full time in Orlando, FL. Whenever I am back in Orlando, we make it a point to get together, as long as he is not napping. Jason is a big college football fan, which is one of the things we commonly talk about. He is a loyal UCF supporter and does, in fact, believe them to be the true 2017 national champions.
Bridesmaid
Mary and I met in undergrad where we both studied Interior Architecture and Design. Since meeting our Sophomore year, we have continued on the same path. After graduation, we both stayed to pursue our Master of Fine Arts degree, and over the past two years of late night writing, too many Starbucks trips, and wondering if we would ever graduate, we have become best friends. Following our graduation in August, Mary plans to move to Atlanta, Georgia where she will work for Gensler as an Interior Designer. When she’s not at WJB, Mary can be found watching Harry Potter, taking a nap, or sitting on my sofa with a glass of wine.
Groomsman
Kris has been one of my best friends throughout flight school, and the third member of the Krevitt group (Kris+Kevin+Brett). I met him through Kevin (Groomsman) before starting primary flight training, and the three of us lived together for about the past year. Kris is from San Francisco, CA, and alumni of UCLA. He is currently living in the Pensacola area and is pursuing his wings in Naval helicopter training. He is the first friend I have had that became a homeowner, and was actually my landlord for a short period of time. Now that he is a homeowner, he takes pride in his well-kept lawn and regulating the thermostat.
Bridesmaid
Caroline is from Perry, Florida and completed her undergrad at the University of Florida. After graduating she moved to Tallahassee where she works for the Executive Office of the Governor as a Notary Coordinator. Caroline and I met this past year when we decided to be roommates, and we quickly became good friends despite her love for the Gators. Caroline keeps Sarah (bridesmaid), and I informed on current events and crime statistics, and without her, I would be both oblivious and less paranoid. Caroline’s passions include running, criminal law, reading multiple books at once, ice cream, and Hudson - her bosses golden retriever.
GROOMSMAN & COUSIN OF THE GROOM
Brad is my second oldest cousin, and along with Brian (Groomsman) is one of the first people I ever knew. I always enjoyed visiting him and Brian in Atlanta and seeing them on Family reunions in Ft Lauderdale or Captiva. All of our Family reunions were typically spent nowhere near the rest of the family. We were usually forced to stay outside until noon, at which point Brian, Brad, and I would retreat to the hotel room to play Pokemon and eat Tombstone Pizzas. Brad was also a pretty good football player as he is one of two males in the family to break the 6-foot mark. Brad graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Finance. He currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia and works for Callan as the Assistant Vice President.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I grew up in the same hometown but didn’t actually become good friends until graduate school when she moved to Tallahassee to pursue a Masters in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition. We have technically been roommates for the past year, but she practically lived at my house the year before that. Sarah is a Registered Dietitian, entrepreneur, and one of the first people I’ve known to be able to grow an entire business from an Instagram account. She has been known to cook a whole turkey in the middle of April and has a constant supply of protein balls and pumpkin muffins. She's an inspiring soul to be around and one who has kept my spirits up throughout graduate school.
GROOMSMAN & COUSIN OF THE GROOM
Brian is my oldest cousin, and along with Brad (Groomsman) is one of the first people I remember knowing. Visiting Brian and Brad in Atlanta was my favorite thing to do growing up. It was during this time that they introduced me to NCAA Football dynasties, Super Smash Bros, and most importantly taught me everything that I know about the original 150 Pokemon. Brian attended the University of Florida, and currently lives in Alpharetta, GA with his wife, CT. He works as the Social Media Manager for the Harlem Globetrotters and has been the first of the cousins to graduate college, get married, and buy a house.
Bridesmaid
Haley has been one of my best friends since early high school. In college we both joined Tri Delta Sorority at different competitive football schools - she went to Auburn, and I went to Florida State. We were able to put collegiate differences aside and visited each other frequently for football games, rodeo, and birthdays. Haley is one of the classiest girls I know, but she will also be the first to rally for a night out. She enjoys an authentic Moe’s Bushwacker, all things Auburn, and baking Instagram-worthy cookies. Haley is currently pursuing her Master’s in Health Administration at the University of North Florida and plans to move to Atlanta following graduation in August.
Groomsman
Chris and I grew up going to church together but did not realize it until we became friends in college. When we met, we both looked familiar to each other, but it took a few minutes to figure out from where. Since then, Chris has become a great friend. He graduated college a year before me and attended Naval Officer Candidate School. I was hoping to do the same thing after graduation, so it was easy to keep in touch. Chris currently serves as a Supply Officer assigned to the USS Stout and is stationed in Norfolk, VA. He has made great sacrifices in the Navy, as he has somehow missed every football season since he graduated. He is excited to soon be moving back to Jacksonville, FL, for his shore duty while he pursues his MBA and finally goes to Florida State games again.
BRIDESMAID & COUSIN OF THE BRIDE
Chelsea is my eldest female cousin and is one of the people I spent a significant part of my childhood with. Visiting Chelsea was something I looked forward to every year growing up. It was during these visits that we spent hours tubing on the lake, shopping at the local thrift store, walking the TART Trail, and talking about boys. While most of our summers were spent outside, the other part was spent convincing our parents to drive us to the Bachmann's candy store. Chelsea attended Ferris State University and currently lives in Ellsworth, Michigan with her husband, Robby. She works at Bellaire Family and Cosmetic Dentistry as a Dental Hygienist and can often be caught rollerblading or tanning by the lake.
Groomsman
Corey is one of my best friends from college. He was my pledge brother and longtime roommate. We were both living in the FSU Honor's dorm Freshman year and quickly became close because there was not much of a social atmosphere there. We also spent lots of time together while pledging, and our friendship was solidified after a year of living together in a terrible house off campus. It was during our Senior year that Corey became a beer snob after taking an online Ales class. He enjoys pouring his beers in a way that creates a layer of foam to preserve hoppiness, ordering European craft beers at pizza restaurants, and mix and matching his own six packs. Corey currently lives in Miami, FL where he works in IT advisory for Protiviti.
