If you’re considering spending a little extra time in Querétaro before or after the wedding, I’d be happy to share some of my favorite places to visit. Feel free to reach out, and I’ll provide you with more recommendations for a memorable stay!
Downtown Queretaro

11 Calle Francisco I. Madero, Santiago de Querétaro, Qro. 76000, Mexico

Of course Querétaro’s downtown is a must if you're traveling here. It’s a vibrant area with various attractions, including bus tours around the city and “Recorrido de Leyendas,” a guided tour that shares fascinating local legends and historical tales. It’s a great way to immerse yourself in the city’s rich culture.

I highly recommend exploring Peña de Bernal. This town is one of Querétaro’s seven “Magic Towns” and is known for its vibrant culture and history. It’s particularly special during the Day of the Dead festivities, offering a unique glimpse into Mexican traditions.

San Miguel de Allende

San Miguel de Allende is a must-visit. Often affectionately called “San Mike” by locals. Known for its stunning colonial architecture and vibrant arts scene, it’s a charming city full of history and culture. Definity my favorite magic town in Mexico!

Keen to explore Querétaro’s culinary scene? Here are some top restaurants to consider: Il Duomo: Enjoy delicious Italian cuisine. Fishers House: Experience a bohemian vibe with a focus on seafood. Carajillo Querétaro: From gourmet cheeseburgers to tacos, this spot offers a diverse menu. Los Laureles: Savor traditional Mexican dishes accompanied by live mariachi music. Mazze: A minimalistic restaurant serving delightful Mediterranean dishes. These spots are a bit farther from the venue but are well worth the visit for a memorable dining experience. There are plenty of hotel options if you’re staying a day or two early, which will make it easier and quicker to enjoy these fantastic places. @fishershouse_ @carajillomx @hacienda_loslaureles @mazze.qro

Hotel Boutique Casa de la Marquesa: A charming boutique hotel in the historic center, featuring colonial architecture and easy access to local attractions. 2.Hampton Inn Querétaro: A modern hotel with comfortable rooms, complimentary breakfast, and a fitness center, conveniently located near the city center. 3.Hotel NH Querétaro: A contemporary hotel with spacious rooms and an on-site restaurant, close to dining and shopping options.
