Getting Around Maui

Our ceremony and reception will be held in South Maui (Wailea). We highly recommend renting a car at the airport. This is the most cost-effective and convenient option and allows you the flexibility to explore the island during your stay. The drive from the airport to South Maui takes approximately 25–35 minutes and is an easy, scenic route with beautiful ocean views along the way.

We recommend Rentals Maui, which offers affordable condo options just 10–15 minutes from the ceremony and reception venue. They feature 1–3 bedroom condos that comfortably accommodate 2–6 guests. It is ideal for couples, families, or small groups.

Another great affordable option is Hilton Grand Vacations Club Maui Bay Villas, located 20–25 minutes from our wedding venue. Rooms with 1 King bed start at $363 per night, and rooms with 2 Queen beds start at $405 per night (both plus taxes and fees). This is a comfortable option for couples or guests sharing accommodations.

Hotel Wailea is a wonderful option if you’re looking for an adults-only experience. Located just 5–10 minutes from our wedding venue, it offers a more luxurious stay. While it is on the higher end price-wise, the hotel offers great perks, including a complimentary fifth night and 30% off when booking 60+ days in advance.

Wailea Beach Resort is a perfect option if you’d like to enjoy a full resort experience. Located just 10 minutes from our wedding venue, it offers beautiful grounds and amenities. Rooms with 1 King or 2 Queen beds and a Garden View start at $578 per night, while Partial Ocean View rooms start at $614 per night (plus taxes and fees).

For our family and friends traveling from outside Arizona, you are more than welcome to come to Arizona for a few days before we all head to Maui. This can make travel easier, especially for those coming from overseas, and gives us extra time to spend together. We are exploring the option of renting a large Airbnb in Arizona so everyone visiting can stay together, relax, and enjoy some quality family time before the trip. To help us plan, we’ll need a general headcount. If you’re considering joining us in Arizona before Maui, please let us know as soon as you can. We truly cannot wait to celebrate with you in paradise!
