In October 2025, Matthew planned a simple but deeply meaningful trip, one that reflected what we both love most: hiking and being outdoors. We headed to Arizona’s White Mountains in search of fall foliage. On October 5, 2025, Matthew suggested taking photos at a few scenic spots along the way. At our final stop, surrounded by lush green scenery, a peaceful river, and calves grazing in the background, Matthew set up the camera, took a steadying breath, pulled out a gold radiant diamond ring, and asked Dulce, “Will you marry me?” Of course, she said yes.
