The weather will vary throughout the day. Historically, the daily weather at the base can fluctuate from the low 70s to 50s. Keep in mind, the weather on the mountain, where the ceremony and reception will be held, will be a bit colder than the base. Be sure to bring a jacket!! Make sure you bring a jacket to the ceremony since we will stay at the top of the mountain for the reception.
The dress code is semi-formal. Cocktail dresses and suits are the preferred attire. Please bring a jacket or have a coat available as weather can fluctuate and will be colder at the top of the mountain.
Parking will be at the base of the mountain - Ford Hall or Villa Montane Garage. * Parking is free in the summer* Spruce Saddle Lodge is at the top of Centennial Lift.
Check out the information listed on the Transportation tab for more information about how to get around Beaver Creek and how we recommend traveling from the airport. There are a few shuttles that run from the airport to beaver creek so renting a car will not be a necessity.
While we love and adore all of the kids in our life, we would prefer if they were left at home the night of the ceremony. We know how hard all of you work for your kiddos.. think of this as your night off!
Both the ceremony and the reception are at the top of the Centennial chair lift. The ceremony is a short walk away from the gondola and the reception venue.
The altitude change, especially for our friends coming from sea level can be a lot. Beaver creek’s altitude is 8098ft and the top of centennial lift is 10,219ft. Make sure you stay hydrated!! Make sure you bring Bonnie or Dramamine for motion sickness since there are quite a few twists and turns getting out to the mountains. Be sure to talk to your primary care doctor about a prescription if you are susceptible to altitude sickness, there are a few prescriptions which can help. ** If you are sensitive to altitude change, please consider spending a night in Denver and then coming out to the mountains the next day since this will help you acclimate.
