Hotel
This is where we have our largest room block - please book by March 19th! The website below (the "View" button) is a special booking page with our block price. This is likely the best location (closest to the wedding venue) for the price. If you want something fancier, there are some high-end hotels just north of MyMoon, feel free to peruse those with and without the "specially negotiated rates" link below.
Hotel
The EVEN hotel is a bit further from the venue (certainly not walkable!), but some family had a good experiences here, and it seems like a great place to stay! We have a block with King and Double/Double rooms here - please let me know if either runs out, it's likely we can add more to the block. Please book by March 19th!
Travel Note
If you're not in love with the Hotel blocks we setup (no worries!), Zola has provided a generic link to browse some other hotel discounts - feel free to use it, maybe there's a deal perfect for your stay!
Train
We've taken Amtrak between NYC and DC for years - we prefer it for getting in and out of the city. The tickets get more expensive the closer to the travel date, so book early! From Moynihan Train Hall, you can take the subway to anywhere in the City. The gist of getting from Moynihan to our wedding venue/hotels is taking the A or C downtown a few stops to 14th Street, and the L to Bedford Avenue (for MyMoon) or Lorimer Street (for the Indigo Hotel). If you really don't want to take the subway, there is also a cab line outside of Moynihan/Penn Station - just be aware it'll run you an extra $50-ish!
Train
The Subway is sprawling, but an affordable and modern way to access most of the City. You can typically pay directly with your phone, and Google Maps has pretty good step by step directions and generally stays up to date with train maintenance schedules. Our venue and hotels are in Williamsburg, which has quick access to Manhattan via the L train. If you're up for it, you can get most places in 15-30 minutes.
Flight
La Guardia is technically a bit closer to the venue and our hotels, but the transit from either is roughly the same if you're going to take a taxi from the airport. So, either La Guardia (LGA) or John F Kennedy (JFK) are reasonable if you prefer to fly.
Travel Note
We're hopeful that folks can book hotels close enough to the venue to walk, but we know it won't be possible for everyone. (This city is crowded!) Cabs, Ubers, and Lifts are a recommended way to get around - you don't need to worry about parking, and it's generally better than walking home, especially late-night.
