Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Duaa Osman and Russell Matney
There's a ton to do in New York City! We encourage you to make time for a show on broadway, a trip to a museum, or some other fun thing while you're here. We've listed a few of our favorites below - feel free to ping some other family to see what folks are up to!
Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Brooklyn, NY 11238
The West Brooklyn

The West Brooklyn

379 Union Avenue, Williamsburg, NY 11211

Where we met!

The Double Windsor

The Double Windsor

210 Prospect Park West, Park Slope, NY 11215

Our local bar

Pasta Louise Restaurant

1114 8th Avenue, Park Slope, NY 11215

One of our local favorites - simple and delicious pasta, plus great cocktails, and walking distance from Prospect Park!

Kellogg’s Diner

518 Metropolitan Avenue, Williamsburg, NY 11211

We haven't been here since it closed and reopened across the pandemic.... but it's a 24/7 diner - perfect for late night or any-time-of-day waffles.

Prospect Park

Brooklyn, NY

Our backyard - quite large and easy to get lost in. There's a lake with paddle boats, a 3.5 mile running track, and lawns to stretch out on.

Brooklyn Museum

200 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11238

We've been here a bunch of times! They usually have something trendy but also some classics.

Top of The Rock

30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10112

The view of the city from the top of 30 Rock is awesome! They like to say it's better than the Empire State Building because you can _see_ the Empire State Building while you're up there. There's also a few cool shops in the area (including Nintendo World!) and it's pretty close to Times Square and Broadway shows in general.

American Museum of Natural History

American Museum of Natural History

200 Central Park West, New York, NY 10024

The one from the Night at the Museum movies (among others)! This is pretty far up town, so beware the transit time - still, it's one of our favorites, particularly the planetarium.

The High Line

New York, NY 10011

An old subway line converted into a walkable garden. A pretty cool walk, if the weather is nice!
