Doubletree Downtown Reading

We have a block of rooms reserved at the DoubleTree Hotel in Downtown Reading, just a few blocks from the wedding venue. To reserve a room, click below or call 610-375-8000 and ask for a room in the McDermott/Plunkett Wedding block. Rooms in the block will be available until April 20, 2022. The rate for the hotel is $129/night and is good for up to two days before or after the wedding.

Shuttle

Guest Transportation

May 21, 2022 4:15 pm - 11:15 pm

Shuttle service will be provided from the Doubletree Hotel to the wedding venue before the ceremony and will return following the reception. Shuttles will leave from outside the Doubletree at 4:30pm and 5:00pm. Return shuttles will leave the reception outside of Goggleworks at 10:45pm and 11:15pm.

Out of Town Guests

For our guests traveling from out of town, the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is the closest major airport, located 72 miles from downtown Reading. Driving from the airport is the fastest and most direct method of transportation. All major car rental companies have locations at Philadelphia International. Please note: some routes from the Philadelphia Airport to Reading involve travel on toll roads. Google maps will allow you to choose a route with no tolls, or check with your rental car company to determine how tools should be handled.
