Olympic Valley is northwest of Tahoe City along California State Highway 89, and on the banks of the Truckee River near Lake Tahoe. It is home to Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley Ski Resort) and the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. For guest traveling by plane, we recommend flying into Reno (RNO) and either renting a car or taking a shuttle to Olympic Valley. Olympic Valley is about a 45-50 minute drive from the Reno airport. For guests traveling by car, Olympic Valley is conveniently located 10 minutes off of Interstate 80. TART Connect is a FREE and easy way to get around without a car. TART Connect offers curb-to-curb, on-demand service, for any trip within the defined service areas (check app for zones).

Guests with this wedding receive 10% off our standard hotel rates. A deposit of one night is required upon booking and non-refundable if cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival. PlumpJack has a two night minimum stay on weekends. Room rates are subject to 10% occupancy tax, 2% district tax and a resort fee of $20 per night.

There are plenty of great AirBnB's and VRBO's in the valley. This is the best lodging option for families or groups. We recommend renting a house or condo close the the Village and Olympic Valley Stables.
