We will be arriving by Friday, August 30, and are planning the following: - Hike to the Skookumchuck Narrows on Saturday, August 31 - Boat tour of Princess Louisa Inlet on Monday, September 2 Please see Schedule section for more details. Kayak, jet ski, and other rentals are available from the Lodge and associated tour companies. The area is truly spectacular, and we encourage everyone that can to come early and/or stay later to enjoy the sights.
Yes! Kids are welcome at both the ceremony and reception. There will be a kids area in the hall where dinner will be served. After dinner, we would like to arrange a nanny to supervise the kiddos in an (indoor) area near the outdoor dance floor. Please contact us directly if you're interested in this. Baby monitor signals can reach throughout the main lodge area (all rooms except Large Forest Suites where we're not sure).
We are encouraging everyone (as many as possible) to stay onsite at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge. Please refer to the Travel section for more details.
It's a wedding! No socks and sandals, flip flops... you know the drill :)
The ceremony will start at 3:30pm, so please arrive in time to be seated by then. The view is spectacular so feel free to head to the deck early to enjoy it!
Your invitation will indicate whether you have a plus one. Space is limited at the venue so unfortunately we are not able to offer a plus one to every guest.
Yes! Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you RSVP for the wedding/reception section (they will be noted for the Welcome BBQ as well). All dietary restrictions will be accommodated by the chefs at the Lodge.
The ceremony and reception will be onsite at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge (where you will also stay). The Backeddy is a ~5 minute walk down the hill from the Lodge (uphill to the ceremony/reception... downhill after a few drinks).
