(photo - wedding 2009) Met circa August 2006, as RAs at Sonoma State 2 time SSU colleague Visiting from (the next block over) Rohnert Park, CA Though we had known each other for years, worked together, held mutual friends, shared a hotel room at a wedding, and I took her out for her 21st birthday, it wasn't until we were working together again and venting about work over a bottle of wine that I realized Becky had just become my very real friend. First impression of the bride: It was clear Kailyn wasn't like Sean's past girlfriends or friends for that matter. Somehow she knew the recipe to neutralize Sean's perpetual lack of focus. Sean had often been a box of chocolates.

Two people ended up in our room and I interrupted them hooking up in Mychal's bed. As a caddy at Mayacama, Brian (AKA Moonpie) was first Sean's friend. But along with his equally best half, Christina, they were the first to welcome Kailyn into their sphere, and soon the families were friends. The Mooneys were the biggest cheerleaders and voices of reason in urging the evolution of Sean and Kailyn's relationship along so many steps. It is fitting that the first friend to know them as a couple should be the one to marry them.
