"If you like what you see, send me a message, but we both know you're not going to." And with that Kailyn, who finds it difficult to deny a dare, messaged Sean with only hopes of complimenting his photography and nothing more. But from there, messages were exchanged and it seemed there was more of a connection than than just "what do you do?" But for reasons a first date wasn't scheduled. Then one fateful $2 Tuesday, Kailyn coincidentally sat next to Sean at Third Street Ale Works. While Sean was definitely checking her out, he had no idea who she was. Kailyn however recognized his winning smile immediately, but mistook him for having met previously until she recollected where she knew him from. Twenty anxious minutes later and having already left to sit at a table, Kailyn returned and asked, "Aren't you the photographer from (dating app)?" Sean's astonished reaction of being approached over his conventionally handsome friend was, "Probably." Kailyn asserted that he could have just asked her out, and Sean just responded with, "Can I have your number?" and they began texting. They finally went out about a month later. Kailyn was over 30 minutes late (due to writing a student recommendation letter) and Sean patiently waited, though he's certain the whole restaurant staff thought he was stood up. It was the kind of date that was all smiles, strong connection, that you didn't want to end. They went from one establishment to the next until 4 stops later at 3:00am they decided to keep it classy and call it a night. However, life got chaotic, holidays happened, and a second date was not established despite Sean's best efforts. Then another $2 Tuesday brought them together. Smiles were shared, texts exchanged from across the restaurant, and an immediate post beer date was held. The full following weekend was spent together watching the NFL divisional championships where Sean learned that Kailyn was just as in to the games as he. Kailyn believes this is when he fell, though Sean doesn't know when that occurred but just that it did.
