Each hotel is 15 miles from RDU International Airport. The wedding ceremony is about 30 minutes away in Chapel Hill. Both hotels are about a 10 minute walk to the Tobacco Road Sports Cafe where we will have our Friday night Welcome gathering. The Cotton Room reception venue is 1.3 miles from each hotel.
Breakfast is not included at the Durham Marriott City Center, however you have the option to include it in your room rate. There are several places within walking distance if you prefer to find a local spot. Breakfast is included with your stay at SpringHill Suites City View.
Parking at the Marriott City Center is by valet only and $20 per night. There is a parking garage across the street for $25 per day and parking becomes free from 7:00pm Friday night until 8:00am Monday morning, as long as there are no other local events that weekend. We will update our website about garage availability as we get closer to July. Self parking at the SpringHill Suites City View is at street level and behind the building in a lower level covered garage. The cost is $10 per night
The church is approximately 30 minutes from the hotels. We will provide bus transportation from the hotels to the church and return to the hotels. Bus transportation will be limited to wedding guests only. We are not having children at the Cocktail Hour or Reception, however you are welcome to meet us at the church if you would like to come as a family. We would love to see you there! * Please check back as we get closer to our wedding date for bus transportation meeting and departure times.
