We aren’t just Disney lovers, there are a lot of fun rides and shows to explore at Universal’s parks, especially the immersive Harry Potter areas! In fact, our second date was a theme park date night at Universal Studios (Doug taught Erin some tips to win on MIB Alien Attack)
Visiting the Disney Resorts is free to do, and they have some lovely Christmas decorations and snacks! While Grand Floridian is obviously a favorite, we also enjoy the decor at several hotels, including Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, the Boardwalk, Beach Club, and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Please check with the resorts regarding parking availability, or utilize the free Disney transportation system
Two fun courses the whole family can enjoy, see how Santa and his elves enjoy their vacation!
Another fun Disney mini golf course set to theme from the Disney movie Fantasia!
A fun 21+ dueling piano bar located on the Boardwalk
Disney’s shopping and dining area outside the parks, there are tons of stores, snack kiosks, and restaurants for the whole family. Be sure to stop by the Lego store, and check out the Lego sculptures around the store, including in the lake. One of our favorite restaurants is Homecomin for some amazing fried chicken and cheddar biscuits, this is where we had our first date!
If you need a break from the busy parks, take a ride over to Disney springs and the dine in movie theater
Located in Disney Springs, this bowling alley is sure to be fun for the whole family!
Another fun Orlando area park, Sea world offers a Christmas celebration among a backdrop of animal encounters, shows, and some of central Florida’s most popular roller coasters
Fun for kids and kids at heart, this park celebrates all things Lego! With rides for the whole family and even an entire Peppa Pig park, this is another popular choice for families with young kids
Celebrate a love of Disney animation with all of the acrobatics, stunts, choreography and beautiful theming of a Cirque show! Fun for the whole family
