Newark, NJ (EWR)

NYC has 3 major airports, but Newark will be the easiest for public transportation or cabs to a hotel. For public transit to Jersey City, take the AirTrain to the NJ Transit stop. Get off at Newark Penn Station and transfer to the PATH train towards World Trade Center (the only option here!). Take the PATH 2 stops to Grove Street!

If you're coming in by train (Amtrak or NJ Transit) and staying in Jersey City, we recommend you travel to Newark Penn Station (not New York), and take the PATH to Grove Street from there. You can also get cabs or Ubers from Newark Penn, but there's often rush hour traffic.

Driving & Parking

If you're driving in just for the day, we recommend parking in this lot, which is a 5 min walk from the reception venue and the Grove Street PATH station. We DO NOT recommend driving into the city for the ceremony, as street parking near Advent can be quite challenging. Please consider parking in the garage for the day and taking PATH & the subway to/from NYC. More subway directions below!

If you call, mention the "Trigg-VanderWeide Wedding." This hotel is a 25 min walk (1.5 mi) or less than 10 min cab ride from the reception location, and close to the Newport PATH station. The room block rate is for Friday - Sunday only, and expires October 16.
