Flying In?

Whether you're flying in from New York, Boston, D.C., Phoenix or Denver, we are so honored you're willing to travel to celebrate with us. And we promise to make it worth the trip. Since we're in the middle of Wisconsin, there's not an obvious choice for which airport to fly into. We recommend considering a rental car for the weekend to get to and from the airport, as well as for flexibility during the days in Green Lake. Here are your options: Appleton (ATW) 1 hour drive Madison (MSN) 1 hour 15 min drive Milwaukee (MKE) 1 hour 40 min drive

Green Lake is magical in the summer, and therefore has plenty of hospitality options from boutique to bare bones. Below, we've recommended some of our favorite stays in the area, starting with high-end, elevated rooms to approachable, no-nonsense options. This is not an exhaustive list, and we encourage you to find your own hidden gem in the area. We don't care if you sleep in a hotel, motel, Airbnb, or on the ground (that's our favorite), we just want to see you before and after you lay your head down.

The most boutique of all the options in the area. Owned and operated by the same people who run the best lunch spot in town, these people know taste and hospitality. Heidel House

Green Lake's most esteemed hotel, the newly renovated Heidel House sits right on the water's edge. With two restaurants, a fire pit, water sport rentals and more, there's not a more iconic stay in the area than here. Complimentary shuttles to & from the wedding will be available to this location.

Mapes Hotel

Mapes Hotel is a modern reconcepting of a historic hotel right in downtown Ripon. All the rooms are unique suites overlooking the charming and buzzing Watson Street in the heart of small town America. No stay has better walkability to bars, restaurants, shopping and live entertainment than here. Complimentary shuttles to & from the wedding will be available to this location.

Green Lake Inn

Green Lake Inn offers a personal experience with a stay you can call your own. Along with new renovations, the Green Lake Inn has a fire pit, pickleball court and an award-winning spa on property. We've secured all 17 rooms of the hotel, plus two 2-bedroom apartment suites, for our guests. Room reservations are first-come, first-serve. Located on Fond du Lac Ave on the Green Lake side of Ripon, the Cobblestone Suites promise room to spread out among all you need around the hotel. Complimentary shuttles to & from the wedding will be available to this location.

Located on Fond du Lac Ave on the Green Lake side of Ripon, Boarders Inn & Suites is next door to Cobblestone, which offers the same promise of more room in a central location to any food craving or last minute wedding need around. Green Lake Suites are situated in between downtown's waterfront park and arguably Green Lake's best restaurant. Newly renovated with a drive-in concept feel, Green Lake Suites have everything you would want and need for a Labor Day weekend on the lake. Looking out onto the heart of Green Lake itself, Bayview Motel & Marina offers a waterfront experience most other accommodations can't. Located right off downtown Green Lake, you can't beat the views and walkability. Complimentary shuttles to & from the wedding will be available to this location.

One of the many Bed & Breakfasts in the area, The Greenway House might be the best of all. A historic victorian mansion turned intimate stay, this place makes you feel like you're returning to the lake just like you have every summer. McConnell Inn

One of the most notable B&Bs in Green Lake, McConnell Inn has been charming guests for a long time. Set walking distance from downtown Green Lake, Hattie Sherwood Park along the water, and Norton's Restaurant, you may want to buy the whole house after you've stayed a night or three. The area's most renowned campground, Green Lake Campground has dozens of options, from cabins to RV hookups to flat tent sites for our Hiker Trash people. The campground has access to kayaking, pools, local golf courses and more. Complimentary shuttles to & from the wedding will be available to this location.

Camping at the Wedding

There will be camping available for approximately 6-8 tents free of charge at the Aither’s property. If you’re a thru-hiker, or avid outdoors-person that would enjoy sleeping outside overlooking the lake, you’re more than welcome! Please contact Claire for details.

We will be providing a shuttle to and from each accommodation throughout the day and night on Saturday 8/30 so nobody has to drive that doesn't want to. More details on this to follow!

Green Lake is a magical place in the summer, and Labor Day weekend will bring people from all over to enjoy the lake.
