The "Golden Route"

For a classic experience, we recommend: Dublin → Galway → Doolin (Cliffs of Moher) → Killarney (The Main Event!) → Cork → Dublin. Pro Tip: Stick to the Republic rather than heading North to Belfast to save on travel time and keep the focus on the stunning Southwest.

The Dublin Start: US flights typically land in the morning. For ease, we encourage you to book accommodation for a night in Dublin-drop your bags, grab a hearty lunch, and do something iconic like the Guinness Storehouse or the Book of Kells to beat the jet lag. Set your Google Flight alerts, look into flight deals via Aer Lingus, and check around the 3-4 months out mark for potentially best flight deals. Hot tip from a friend in aviation: best deals can be found when booking on Tuesday nights after 9pm local time.

Irish Rail Service

For the adventurer that wants the scenic route with someone else driving: The quick train from Dublin is just over 3 hours of relaxation, scenic Irish countryside, with time to read, play games, count flocks of sheep, enjoy some snacks and sip a beverage or two.

Cahernane (CAH-her-naan) House Hotel is situated on a private estate at the edge of Killarney National Park, just a twenty minute walk into the town centre. This historical manor house is dripping with charm straight out of a Jane Austen novel. With 48 rooms on-site, this allows our entire group to stay in the same accommodation where we will be hosting our ceremony, reception dinner, and our after party.
