Brad and Nick first met at Chico State in 2009 when Nick recruited Brad to join the Kappa Sigma fraternity basketball team (the team needed a shooting guard and Brad fit the bill). As the two became a dynamic duo on the court they formed a strong friendship off it. Brad became Nick’s fraternal little brother and they eventually became brothers in heart. Since then the two have enjoyed many outdoor adventures together including an epic road trip to Denver in 2017. Brad's only character flaw is his preference for cake over pie.
Erica Cantrell
Maid of Honor
Erica and Katie met on the crew team at Chico State. They became fast friends after many 5am carpools to crew practice. While other teammates in carpools slept and kept a quiet car, Erica and Katie blasted mixed CDs and lots of Disney classics. From teammates to roommates to lifelong friends with lots of laughs in between. Erica is a loyal friend who gives great advice. At the wedding you will find her hyping up the bride and giving great financial guidance.
Robbie Rhoades
Best Man
Only four words are needed to describe this friendship: brothers from other mothers. Rob and Nick also met in Chico in 2007 when they became fraternity brothers. Although the two always enjoyed each other’s company, Rob’s adventures abroad kept these two from clicking as good friends until they became roommates in their final year of college. They would become roommates for many years sharing giggle fits over seemingly nothing, yelling at sports on the TV, endless disc golf days and floats down the Sacramento River, and lots of Papa Murphy’s Pizza. They became each other’s wellsprings of laughter and most comforting shoulders to cry on during difficult days. Although they no longer share a home, they both cherish their time together and still find ways to giggle over seemingly nothing.

Sarah and Katie met at Chico state. Sarah hosted lots of themed parties and loved to organize events which were right up Katie’s alley. Their friendship grew when Katie moved to the Bay Area and they spent their weekends together exploring the city, endless hours of chatting and dancing the night away in bars. Sarah is a loving friend and number one cheerleader. At the wedding you will find Sarah tearing it up on the dancefloor and chatting it up about her cat, Patrick.
Logan Choisnet

In the 5th grade, Ms. Ryan had trouble telling Logan and Nick apart in class, so she decided to seat the two boys next to each other. This simple seating arrangement unwittingly sowed the seeds of an endearing friendship still thriving after nearly a quarter-century. Nick and Logan we’re nearly inseparable growing up and enjoy reminiscing about their childhood in Big Bear Lake and all the foolish shenanigans they partook in. Although miles and life keep them from seeing each other more often, the bond between these two life-long friends is as strong as ever.
Carly Turney

Carly and Katie became childhood friends when their little brothers were on the same soccer team. Though younger, Carly was always the nurturing and responsible friend growing up. Katie introduced Carly to her husband, Jeremy, and they are soon to be excellent parents to their baby girl arriving this spring! Carly is a great listener and supportive friend. At the wedding you will find Carly solving last minute wedding problems and giving sound medical advice.
Steven Loya

This friendship began on dorm move-in day at Chico State in August 2006. Nick had just lugged a television up eight flights of Whitney Hall to find Steven and seemingly his entire extended family in their dorm room. The friendship simmered that first semester of freshman year but really flourished in the second semester. The two would remain roommates for the next four years in college and worked together in various leadership positions within the fraternity. The two have many common interests but nothing has fortified their friendship more than their shared passion for their beloved Los Angeles sports teams.
Kaitlyn Terry

Kaitlyn is Nick's older sister and mother to Jaden and Brooklyn, the ring bearer and flower girl. As young siblings, they didn't always get along but over the years their bond grew ever stronger and they eventually became close friends. Neither the bride nor Kaitlyn grew up with a sister and both are excited to each gain a sister in marriage and in heart.
Kyle Surlow
Groomsman
Nick and Kyle have been married in spirit for over 11 years. They first met as freshmen at Chico State and also became fraternity brothers. Like Rob, Kyle’s adventures abroad also kept them from clicking as friends until they became roommates in the fall of 2010. That final year of college they spent countless hours together playing music, disc golfing, and enjoying afternoons beers on the roof of their home after class. This bromance continues to burn with white-hot intensity.
Max Cordes

Max and Katie met at Chico state. They quickly realized they had the same sense of humor and bonded over SNL jokes. Max has the biggest heart and would do anything for his friends. Max brightens any room he’s in with his infectious laugh and vibrant spirit. At the wedding you will find him helping anyone in need and socializing with all the parents.
John Aldine
Groomsman
Nick and John met when John joined the fraternity at Chico State in 2009. Despite being fraternity brothers, rarely saw eye-to-eye on fraternity business and initially didn’t quite hit it off as close friends. But despite their differences, they developed a healthy mutual respect for each other which became the foundation of an unexpectedly strong friendship after college. John's eccentric personality may be an acquired taste for some, but Nick is always grateful for John’s willingness to listen and help when needed (John can also cook outrageously delicious tri-tip). The two enjoy long conversations about anything and everything over drinks.
Kyle Crowley

Kyle and Katie met through a student volunteer program at Chico State. Kyle loved to crack jokes in a serious room and Katie was always an easy audience to make laugh. Kyle is a loving and caring friend and can cheer anyone up. At the wedding you will find him hamming it up for the crowd and providing comical relief in stressful situations.
Brett O'Hair
Officiant
Brett is Katie’s younger brother and wedding officiant. Growing up Brett was Katie’s sidekick and was forced to develop patience at a young age. Over the years, Brett and Nick have grown to be good friends and bonded over their love of music and camping. Brett is excited to be the first to introduce the couple as husband and wife.
Brian O'Hair
Usher
Brian is Katie’s older brother and wedding usher. Brian loves to spend the weekends hitting up the golf courses with Nick and Katie. Weekend golfing has been a great bonding experience welcoming Nick into the O’Hair family. At the wedding you can find Brian greeting friends and family. Brian is looking forward to having Nick as a new brother.
Brooklyn Terry
Flower Girl
Brooklyn is Nick's niece and brother to the ring bearer Jaden. Although she appears to be very shy at first, Brooklyn is a little spark plug full of energy with an infectious laugh. She's also a great artist and loves to paint and draw often. She is also a HUGE fan of all things unicorns.
Jaden Terry
Ring Bearer
Jaden is Nick's nephew and brother to the flower girl Brooklyn. Unlike her initially bashful sister, Jaden is a sociable and rambunctious boy with even more energy than his sister. When he's not going a mile a minute he is incredibly observant and insightful for a 7-year-old boy. Jaden LOVES dinosaurs and his velociraptor impersonation is uncanny.
