We are so excited to have you come to Colorado. This state has so many activities and sightseeing available! We hope you make the most of your Saturday to explore the mountains. Here are some things we have enjoyed doing. Keep in mind, there is so much more beyond this! P.S. Be sure to keep your eyes open for wild animals. We have seen a black bear family in a tree downtown, a moose and her baby jump a fence and run across a road, elk scattered in fields and under trees, and deer. We have yet to see Bigfoot, but there is a first for everything.

Go out for a romantic dinner! This is where we had dinner for our 3 year anniversary the night we got engaged.

RMNP Fall River Entrance / Toll Station

If you want to enjoy a great mini road trip, drive Trail Ridge Road from the East entrance to the West entrance, ending in Grand Lake, CO. Be wary, as switchbacks are not for the faint hearted. We did this trip one day shortly after we moved here when lost on a fishing trip in Dillon, CO looking for a bathroom. It was breathtaking and worth it. The Taffy Shop

This is a neat little coffee shop with cards and writter’s material for sale. If looking for a nice place to relax, head upstairs and find a spot on a couch and play some board games.

The Stanley Hotel

Estes Park, CO 80517

Take a day tour or late night haunted tour of The Stanley Hotel. Many movies have been filmed here, including ‘Dumb and Dumber’ and ‘The Shining”.
