Here, you will find answers to questions about the wedding day. If you cannot find your answer to your question here, please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom.

Are the wedding ceremony, dinner, and open reception at the same place?

Answer

No. The wedding ceremony will be held at The Premier (4480 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). The dinner and open reception will all take place at GESU Sullivan Center (2049 Parkside Blvd, Toledo, OH 43607).

The wedding will take place on FRIDAY September 17, 2021.

What time does the wedding ceremony begin?

Answer

The wedding ceremony begins promptly at 5:15 p.m.

If I am late to the ceremony by 5 minutes will I be able to get in?

Answer

No. The doors will close at 5:15 p.m. If you are there at 5:16 p.m. you will not be able to attend the wedding ceremony (you can attend the dinner (if invited) and reception). This is to ensure no interruptions happen during the ceremony. Please be on time!

Are there restrictions due to Covid-19?

Answer

There are restrictions due to Covid-19 that are changing daily; for example, the amount of guests allowed in the venue at any given time. The bride and groom will continue to keep everyone updated as more information becomes available. Everyone's safety is first and foremost their top priority.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

Everyone's safety is very important to the bride and groom. They are following the CDC's recommendations. If you are fully vaccinated or not you will need to wear a mask while inside both halls at all times.

Do I need to RSVP for the wedding, dinner, and open reception.

Answer

It is required of the bride and groom to RSVP for all parts of the day. They need an accurate count of how many guest will be attending each portion of the day. There will be a check in as well. If you are not on the list, you will not be allowed entry.

Is there a deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! You must RSVP BY Friday, August 20, 2021. If you do not RSVP by then you will not be allowed to attend any portion of the wedding day. If this happens to you, the wedding ceremony will be streamed virtually.

What time is the dinner and am I invited?

Answer

Dinner will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Due to Covid-19, not everyone will be able to attend dinner. As you RSVP, you will see what events of the day you are invited to.

I was invited and RSVP for dinner, so do I still need to RSVP for the open reception too?

Answer

No, you will not need to RSVP for the open reception.

Why was I invited to the ceremony and open reception and not dinner?

Answer

While the bride and groom would love to have everyone with them the entire day, sadly that it is not possible due to Covid-19. The bride and groom are only allotted a certain number for dinner. Because of this, they invite you to join later in the day to help them celebrate at the open reception. The open reception will be held from 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

What is the difference between the dinner and open reception.

Answer

Due to restrictions of Covid-19, the bride and groom will only have a certain number of people attend dinner. Dinner will entail of a meal for guests and will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The open reception will be from 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m (No kids allowed). Doing it this way, the bride and groom hope to ensure social distancing and safety of all the guests.

Are children allowed?

Answer

No. Although the bride and groom love little ones, the ceremony, dinner, and reception will be adults ONLY. The only children allowed are those a part of the wedding party. The bride and groom apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

Yes and no. When you RSVP it will prompt you to add a plus one if the bride and groom have designated you to be able to bring someone. Due to costs, everyone cannot have a plus one. If you have further questions please reach out to the bride or groom.

Can I take pictures during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

No. The bride and groom have opted to have an unplugged wedding. A fantastic photographer and videographer have been hired to capture their joyous moment. Please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. You can take as many pictures as you like during the dinner and reception.

Will the wedding ceremony be streamed?

Answer

Yes. The wedding ceremony will be streamed via Facebook live. If you are unable to attend in person, we would love for you to join us virtually.

Is this a dry wedding, cash bar, or open bar.

Answer

There will be an open bar for the dinner and reception. Drinks will be provided by the venue. No outside drinks are allowed!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested for this wedding.

Are the bride and groom registered anywhere?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough, but because you asked, the bride and groom are asking for monetary gifts only. Please visit the Registry Tab for further information.

Will there be a vegetarian food option?

Answer

Yes, there will be vegetarian options available during dinner for those who are invited.
