We have not reserved a hotel block for our wedding and encourage guests to book accommodations as early as possible, as October is one of the most popular times to visit Washington, DC and rates can increase significantly as the date approaches. All of the hotels listed below are within walking distance of our Friday evening reception and Saturday boat departure location. If feasible, we strongly encourage guests to stay nearby to make the weekend as easy and enjoyable as possible. We recommend flying into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), which is the closest and most convenient airport for accessing the city. While Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) may occasionally offer cheaper flights, the added transportation costs and travel time often offset the savings. We also discourage renting a car, as parking in DC can be expensive and unpredictable. Most guests will find that walking, rideshares, and public transportation are the easiest ways to get around.

It is the middle price point among the hotels we are recommending and offers a beautiful waterfront location in the heart of The Wharf. We especially love the hotel's restaurant and rooftop bar, both of which offer excellent food, drinks, and some of the best views in the neighborhood. Guests can expect stylish rooms, great service, and easy access to everything The Wharf has to offer. Located on the same block as the Hyatt House, it is less than a five-minute walk from both our Friday evening reception and Saturday boat departure location.
