We have a recommended dress code for each event however we always want our guests to feel comfortable. So if wearing traditional Indian clothes for an event is not your thing- don't worry! Check out our Schedule page for more information on dress code for each event. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to either Divneet or Nick!
All guests are welcome to attend all the events displayed on our schedule. However, if you can only make it to Sunday's ceremony that is absolutely fine as well. If you would like to attend all of the events, plan to be in Southern California by Thursday January 29th, 2022 for the henna party starting at 5PM. Sunday's festivities will run late into the night, so plan to depart on Monday January 31st, 2022.
If your invitation says "and Guest" then yes, if not we would prefer if it was just you.
We'd love for you to RSVP as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly. We'd appreciate if you respond no later than December 31st, 2021.
We love your kids--we really do. But we want our wedding events to be your night off! Therefore, we request please no children under the age of 10.
Yes! We have a room block at the Waterfront Hilton for our party. Please see the Travel and Accommodations tab for more information. If you are interested in the room block, please reach out to Nick or Divneet directly so that we can ensure availability!
We will be providing transportation to and from the hotel to the venues. The beach, restaurants, shopping and the boardwalk are all walking distance from the hotel. If you do choose to rent a car, there is a discounted valet parking rate that is included with our hotel room block. Also, if you decide against renting a car, you can always use Uber/Lyft or rent a bike from the hotel for transportation.
Getting glammed up is so easy with salons right next door. Check out Pacific City for Drybar, FacialWorks, Holly and Hudson Nail Lounge, M.A.C Cosmetics, and Sephora. Also, check out the app GlamSquad for on demand hair and makeup artists that will come to directly to you!
While you do not have to wear festive Indian clothes for the events, if you do want to you can check out the following websites for some options. Just be sure to double check that you are purchasing/renting the entire outfit and not one piece! (Sometimes they do sell them by the piece-crop top/pants/etc- rather than a full outfit!) https://www.allborrow.com https://www.azafashions.com https://www.perniaspopupshop.com If you would like to go in person to a store, take a drive down to the city of Artesia and you will find several Indian fashion stores!
