We both moved into the same brand new building in Brooklyn, NY around the same time. Since both of us have rescue dogs, we bumped into each other at the dog park in our building a few times and made small talk. Over time, the small talk turned deeper and deeper and Nick finally asked me out. We went out that same night and just clicked! The first date was a success and the rest is history!

Wanting to pay homage to how we met, Nick proposed at the same building we met at right before I was moving out. He told me that he had hired a photographer to capture these moments of us in the building for the last time before we bid adieu to Brooklyn. This being right up my alley, I got all dolled up and ready for this photoshoot. As we were moving around the building, I brought up the idea to take pictures on the beautiful grand piano which I have always admired. As we turned the corner, Nick got down on one knee in a bed full of roses and candles and popped THE question. You can guess what happened next :) Here now we are excited as ever to celebrate the union of our love! See you all soon in sunny California!

We enjoy debating about politics, ethics, healthcare, anything and everything. We love watching medical shows together. We like to spark creativity in one another and enjoy creating craft projects together and restoring vintage furniture.
