What is the Dress Code?

Answer

The wedding will be held in a climate-controlled barn, with an outdoor ceremony weather permitting. Formal attire is requested for the celebration at Riverside on the Potomac. Please note that areas outside the barn are gravel, and stable footwear is recommended. Formal or semi-formal attire is requested for the church ceremony. Guests are welcome to wear the same attire throughout the day.

What is the best way to get to Leesburg, VA?

Answer

Leesburg is about 45 minutes northwest of Washington, D.C. and just 20 minutes from Dulles International Airport (IAD). Additional options include flying into Reagan National Airport (DCA) which is approximately a 1 hour drive or Baltimore/Washington (BWI) which is 1.5 hour drive. Amtrak is also an option with regular service through Washington Union Station. Leesburg can be reached either with Uber/Lyft from Union Station or using the metro system. For those who prefer to drive, Leesburg is easily accessible by car. The town has Uber and Lyft service available, and we will also be providing transportation to and from the venue on the wedding day. Please see our hotel list for details.

How do I get to Riverside on the Potomac?

Answer

For those who wish to drive to the venue, below are driving directions. Coming From Leesburg area: GPS directions will generally send you all the way down Spinks Ferry RD from 15 if you are coming from the Leesburg area. DO NOT follow this. Continue on 15 past Roots and Brossmans Farm Market. You will then pass Lucketts Elementary School when you arrive at the stoplight directly after the elementary school turn right. You will pass the fire station and antique store on both sides. Continue on Lucketts Road until it turns into Lost Corner Road. Once you get to the end of Lost Corner Road (the road will make a T with the gravel road) you will make a left hand turn onto Spinks Ferry Rd. Follow Spinks Ferry Rd until the dead end. This is where the venue begins. Once you have arrived at the venue there will (most likely) be cones blocking off half of the drive way. DO NOT move the cones. Drive towards the opposite side, and someone associated with the venue will direct you where to park. Coming from Maryland: Once you have taken the bridge over the Potomac continue on 15. You will pass a gas station on your right, and then one on your left. Quickly after passing the gas station on your left you will make a left hand turn off of 15 onto St. Clare Lane. Follow St. Clare Lane until it makes a T with Lost corner and Lucketts Rd. Turn left onto Lost Corner Road. Once you get to the end of Lost Corner Road (the road will make a T with the gravel road) you will make a left hand turn onto Spinks Ferry Rd. Follow Spinks Ferry Rd until the dead end. This is where the venue begins. Once you have arrived at the venue there will (most likely) be cones blocking off half of the drive way. DO NOT move the cones.
