We first met during medical school at Case Western, where we spent most of our time exploring Cleveland together—whether it was walks around Shaker Lakes, late-night study sessions at Phoenix Coffee, or the occasional Swenson’s drive-thru run (Colin's happy place). After graduation, residency took us in different directions (Dilara to Boston and Colin to Dallas) so we spent three years navigating long distance. Starting long distance and medical residency in a pandemic added its own challenges, but between FaceTime dates and mini getaways, we found ways to make the distance a little easier. Now we’re so happy to finally be together in Philadelphia, where our days are filled with food adventures, ice cream runs, Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, true crime marathons, book dates, and even our first-ever (perhaps last) public karaoke performance together. We wouldn’t be here without the love and support of our family and friends. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
