Maid of Honor
She may be the baby of the family, but she's the most beautiful and poised young woman you'll ever meet. She's also a passionate musician who performs regularly and even writes her own original songs. Opal is such a gem (pun intended), smart and sweet, and everything you'd want in a maid of honor.
Best Man
Where there is adventure, there is Jack. Where there is Jack, there is adventure. Thankfully, Jack is a lot more interesting than his job as a Tax Man. His dancing will not be the best, but he will be the one to start the party and keep it going when 9 PM hits and Colin starts falling asleep. Jack has always been side-by-side with Colin, starting as two band nerds in high school, supporting each other every step of the way.
Bridesmaid
Abby is the oldest of all the Diemer girls, but you'd know that without me even telling you. Her support and role as the eldest sister has never wavered even while she was conquering her academic achievements at University, or traveling around Europe. Abby is the most intelligent and outgoing person you'll ever meet. From creating scavenger hunts, to organizing volleyball teams, and making up holiday dances, she's truly brilliant.
Groomsman
Zachary is the youngest of the Waldmans, the big baby, but the bravest. As a volunteer firefighter for Brielle and Point Beach, Zach balances a busy schedule, also working as a Level I Police Officer in Spring Lake. Zach will soon be graduating from Brookdale Community College, as well. Colin could not be prouder to have his younger brother stand up with him on his wedding day, just as he does every day for his community.
Bridesmaid
Jerah may have been the rebel child who put cheese between your toes at dinner (yes that happened) but now she's definitely the one you'll call when you need rescuing. She's a hardworking paramedic, and a mom to beautiful baby girl, Addie, and three pups. J was always a spirited kid and still to this day she will make you laugh and light up the entire room.
Groomsman
Ian is the oldest of the Waldman Boys. If you need help choosing your next book to read or what movie is worth watching, Ian is your guy. His career is in music and education as a high school band director in NJ. Ian also has a band that plays occasionally, called Paid Vacation. Ian has recently gotten engaged to his fiancée, Melanie Bano.
Bridesmaid
Ali is Colin's aunt but has been family to Rubie since the first time they met. She is the most selfless person you'll ever meet. She's welcoming, kind, and so fun to hang out with. Living just a few hours south of Orlando, Ali and her husband Mike have kindly hosted the bride and groom on several occasions. Ask either of them; weekends with Ali and Mike are the best. They are a big reason why the bride and groom could call Florida home.
Groomsman
Uncle Mike may work some boring finance job, or something like that, but he will tear up the dance floor like there's no tomorrow. Colin loves spending time with Mike, whether it's chilling at the beach, whiffing at golf, or making the best nachos known to man. Every wedding party needs an award-winning dancer on board to help get the party started, and Mike is that guy.
Bridesmaid
Haley is the eldest of the Waldman siblings. She is a nurse practitioner currently living in San Diego, California. Bright and beautiful she is! Growing up with three little brothers and remaining sane, she has undoubtedly gained the respect of the bride. When Haley isn't helping save lives in pediatrics, you can find her soaking up the sun. Rubie is honored to have her be a part of this special day.
Groomsman
Curtis is basically Colin's babysitter whenever the Diemer/Lanoue crew goes Skiing. His other job is as an engineer in Calgary. Curtis enjoys spending time outdoors, engaging in activities such as hunting, fishing, skiing, and playing hockey. Although the outdoors are not always nice to Colin, there is certainly a future of adventure that Curtis will have to bring him up to speed on.
Bridesmaid
Veronique joined Disney on Ice just a month after Rubie did. They were assigned to be roommates and shortly after became best friends. They shared so many adventures and new experiences together. Rubie also learned a lot from Vero: For example, Vero had the guts to tell Rubie that she had been cleaning her clothes with fabric softener for a month. In addition to being a successful pediatrist back home in Montreal, she is fun, outgoing, and will listen to you when you need to vent or cry. She's so special to both the bride and the groom because she was the first person to see their love blossom.
Groomsman
Nick, another Canadian brother-in-law, has a knack for strumming the guitar and singing away a good tune. Colin enjoys when Opal and Nick jam out together at family gatherings. We were going to ask exactly what Nick does for work, but our guess is close enough: The man who climbs trees and makes trees go away? This past summer, Nick and Jerah welcomed their first child, Addie, and Colin can not wait to meet her.
Bridesmaid
Maddie has been friends with the bride since they were 13 years old. They met in their first year of high school, and a lot of laughter and silliness has happened since then! Through all of Rubies skating and traveling endeavors, Maddie has stood by her side even when they were countries apart. Not only is Maddie a good friend to Rubie but she is now an honorary member of the Diemer clan, and they all love her to death. Maddie graduated with a degree in sociology and psychology and is now getting her masters in counseling psychology. She is with out a doubt, one of a kind.
Groomsman
There's only one person who can plan a party, host a party, and be fashionably 2-5 hours late to the party, but when Noah arrives, the party arrives. Need a cocktail? Noah. Need charcuterie? Noah. Need a suit for a wedding? Not Noah. Colin first met Noah at Full Sail University back in 2019, where he taught Colin all the ins and outs of live events. From Tuesday night's "drinks" turning into Wednesday morning "where's my car", there is no one better to work gigs with and then turn around and party away.
