For our Canadian friends and family coming from in and around Windsor. Rubie and Colin have found it easy (and much more budget-friendly) to drive to DTW airport in Detroit and fly to EWR in Newark, NJ. If you are traveling from within the US, this is most likely your best choice. This is a United Hub. Therefore, flying United will give you the best chance to find a direct flight.

We have researched rental agencies and have found Vrbo is the most used in the area. Keep in mind that Summer at the Jersey Shore is a tourist hotspot. Booking far in advance is highly recommended. Do not expect to get a good deal or rental at the last minute. Moving away from the beach will help with the "tourist inflation".

NJ Transit is available directly from EWR Airport to Manasquan, NJ. This is 10-15 minutes from the wedding venue upon arrival.
Travel Note
Summer Traffic/Bridge Openings
Please note: Due to a highly congested boating area and Summer tourist schedule, traffic can cause significant travel issues if you do not plan. The most prominent note to remember is for friends and family traveling south over the Brielle/Point Beach Bridge on the wedding day. The bridge consistently opens on the hour and half-hour to allow boat traffic through. Plan on needing extra travel time on the weekend.
