Tulum's beach zone is broken into three main zones, the public beach, the private beach, and Sian Ka'an. The 'public zone' is located on the left side of the strip when you arrive in the beach zone and has lots of beautiful vacant beach with some restaurants and bars. The 'private zone' is on the right side and is occupied by hotels, bars, and restaurants, great if you'd like to visit a beach club and/or rent a cabana. Sian Ka'an is at the end of the private zone.
