Stop for a classic photo-op at the historic Don CeSar Hotel, grab the best fried grouper sandwich in the Tampa Bay at The Hurricane, and enjoy a sunset over the Gulf of Mexico!
Numerous restaurants, bars, and shops! Liz is a sucker for brunch at The Mill. Ferg's is a St. Pete staple with a dive-bar feel, great wings, and cheap beer. The best cuban sandwich in Tampa Bay is at Bodega! (The line around the block is worth it!) Drew's favorite place to grab a bottle of wine while catching up with friends is at Hawthorne Bottle Shop. Spend a day strolling up and down Central Avenue...you won't be disappointed!
Beach Drive is right in front of MOFA and lined with lively restaurants and bars. The Canopy at the Birchwood is a rooftop bar with beautiful views of the bay where Liz and Drew had their "second first date" - get there early unless you want to fight the crowds. Ceviche is a delicious tapas restaurant with knock-your-socks-off sangria. Paciugo has the.best.gelato.EVER and where Liz ate her weight in their violet gelato her first year in DTSP (Liz's go-to order: 2 flavor cup - violet and black cherry - ask for extra cherries). Stillwater Tavern has PHENOMENAL fish and chips! This area is also home to The Dali Museum, Saturday Morning Market (held at Rowdies Stadium - try the beef empanadas from the Empanada World tent! Liz's other favorite is the breakfast bowl from Uhuru.), the new St. Pete Pier (where their engagement photos were taken), The Vinoy Hotel (go enjoy a drink on their front veranda), and more!
