FAQs

The Wedding Website of Elisabeth Chinlund and Andrew Leggette
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP online before February 1, 2023.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To give all of our guests the opportunity to celebrate (and perhaps get a little rowdy) without little eyes and little ears, we kindly ask that children be left at home with a responsible adult. Please use our celebration as an excuse to have a parents-night-out!

Question

Will Beau and Dan be in attendance? What about Shelly? Swayze?

Answer

Have you ever heard of the old saying "like a bull in a china shop?" That would be Dan and Beau in a museum full of their favorite people. Most importantly, the Museum of Fine Arts doesn't allow dogs within their galleries for very good reason. Neither do they allow an ornery cat or a horse who thinks he's a dog. Don't worry, all of our three- and four-legged children will be attending in spirit.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at the Museum of Fine Arts, and surrounding downtown St. Pete, is incredibly limited. We highly encourage, and would prefer, the use of Uber/Lyft for those staying in the area. For our elderly guests and those with mobility limitations, there is a small lot at the corner of Beach Drive and 2nd Avenue Northeast (by the Kapok tree) that may be used. These parking spots are extremely limited and we request all of our guests help us prioritize them for our loved ones who need them the most.

Question

Where in the museum will the festivities be taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony is to be held in the Memory Garden. It will be followed by a sunset "Happy Hour" on the Museum's bougainvillea-trimmed patio that overlooks Tampa Bay. A lively reception is to be held in the Museum's Observatory. Dinner, a wide array of drinks, and dessert to be served. Oh- and LOTS of dancing and singing.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It is incredibly important to us that our guests feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. While we do not have a formalized dress code, we kindly ask our guests to consider the beautiful and elegant surroundings of our venue when choosing their attire for the evening. Garden party or cocktail attire will be more than suitable.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in St. Pete in February is beautiful! We hope for high temperatures in the low-mid '70s with sunny skies. Cold snaps and occasional rain are not unheard of, but we hope unlikely. There's a reason they call us "The Sunshine City".

Question

What kind of food and drink will be served?

Answer

We will be serving passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dessert catered by Olympia Events. A plethora of beer, wine, and spirit options will be served by Catering by Lundy’s. For any dietary restrictions or allergy concerns, please contact Liz or Drew directly to ensure your safety.

Question

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

The safety of our friends and family is of the highest priority. We will encourage precautions consistent with current CDC guidelines at the time of our wedding.
