Where is the Venue? / I'm lost!

Answer

The wedding and reception are at Carolyn Baldwin Lake Pavillion, a few minutes outside of downtown Farmville. The venue can seem tricky to find. Google Maps should work just fine, we had no trouble. Just make sure you load it beforehand, because depending on your provider, cell service isn't the best out there. When you're on Cooks Rd and nearing the destination, be on the lookout for a side-road marked by a wagon with the name Carolyn Baldwin Lake painted on the side. (Omg this sounds so country). Turn down this road. This is the long entrance road to the venue. It is QUITE long. You may think you're lost. You're not. Keep going. Through the forest lol. There are lots of signs - follow them! Eventually you will come out of the woods and see a wedding sign with our name on it and plenty of parking. You will also see the lake & the pavilion. Hooray, you made it!
