Travel Note
1. Granada is a safe city, the only thing to be aware of is petty theft. It's best to have bags with zippers & always closed. Never leave your cell phone or valuables on a table, someone WILL take it. 2. English isn't as well spoken as cities like Madrid or Barcelona, make sure to know some key Spanish travel vocabulary. 3. Because of internet problems abroad, we recommend you write down schedules & addresses on a piece of paper & have it all times in case you get lost. You can't rely on Wifi in Granada. 4. VERY IMPORTANT: When you are walking by the main Cathedral in the city, there are gipsies who will aggressively wave a rosemary in front of you to grab, they will even grab your hands to put the rosemary in them. DO NOT ACCEPT THIS! They will in return make you pay them lots of money for this, & they will not stop harassing you until you pay them. This is not a drill, they will rob you so be careful.
House Or Rental
Airbnb is one of the many sites where you can rent an apartment or condo for a short amount of time. We highly recommend you consider this option because the price will most likely be less than a hotel. WARNING: Be sure to look for a place that has AC because many places in Granada don't have it and it will be very warm in June.
Hotel
This hotel is a bit more expensive than others, however it is well situated in the Albaycin and gorgeous. If a group 3+ books at the same time, everyone can get a 10% discount. Email the hotel at info@hotelcasa1800granada.com to make your group reservation.
Hotel
This hotel is my favorite because it is located in between the city center and the church where we are getting married. The building is beautiful, and still affordable. If you book 3+ rooms you can send an email for a group discount. This is a boutique hotel meaning not many rooms so make your reservation sooner than later.
