Swan Quarter Ferry Reservation
A ferry reservation is required for the ferry from Swan Quarter, NC to Ocracoke, NC. You must arrive 30 minutes before your ferry time. We recommend booking your return ferry ahead of time as well. Swan Quarter ferry terminal is 3 hours from RDU International Airport. The ferry crossing time is 2 hours 40 minutes.

There is a ferry that runs from Hatteras, NC to Ocracoke Island starting at 4:30am and running approximately every hour. This ferry is free and is first come, first serve. Hatteras Ferry Terminal is 4.5 hours from RDU International Airport. The ferry crossing is 60 minutes.
