The closest airport to Pioneertown and the Joshua Tree area is Palm Springs International Airport, about 35 miles away. This is definitely the most convenient option, as it's closest to the Joshua Tree area. Unfortunately, it's not the most affordable option.

You'll find affordably priced flights and plenty of non-stop flights into LAX. It's about 140 miles from Pioneertown/Joshua Tree. Give yourself plenty of time for the drive out to the desert. Los Angeles is notorious for its traffic.
