Please don't leave the area without a visit to this remarkable place! Bring along your climbing gear, go for a hike, or even just a drive and stop for lunch at a picnic area.
Join us for a sound bath on October 4th at 10:45! Space for each session is limited to 30 people. If you can't make it into the 10:45 session, don't worry. There will be three more sound baths throughout the day. Book here: https://www.integratron.com/sound-bath/ Built under the instruction of extraterrestrials (according to its founder...) on a geomagnetic vortex, using the writings of Nikolai Tesla, the Integratron is most known for having some of the best acoustics in America. The sound baths here are like no other. It's a completely new-agey, wackadoo experience that you shouldn't leave without having.
Founded by a group of Western movie stars (including Roy Rogers and Gene Autry), Pioneertown was once a set for over 50 cowboy films, but these days it's mostly a kitschy, but fun, stop for visitors. The crown jewel here is Pappy and Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace.
This spot is known for barbecue and live music. Paul McCartney and Robert Plant have both played on this tiny stage, so be sure to keep your eyes on their calendar.
The Joshua Tree area has some great shops full of cool and unique vintage finds. Vanessa's favorite is The End in Yucca Valley, but be sure to check out Ricochet Vintage Wears, Funky & Darn Near New, and Pioneertown General Store. In the non-vintage category, try Shop on the Mesa, BKB Ceramics, The Hoof and the Horn, and Moon Wind Trading Company.
For the last 15 years of his life, Noah created ten acres full of art installations in the desert using found objects. It's open to the public every day, free of charge.
If you're in the mood for food that's a bit more refined and fresh, try La Copine. It's only open during the afternoon, so plan accordingly.
We love this place for their all-day breakfasts and the vegan Hell Burger. BUT, Philly fam, don't order the Fake Philly. It'll just piss you off.
Healthy. Tasty. Vegetarian. It doesn't get more California.
Owned by a Cambodian family, it's the place to go for classic American breakfast and delicious Cambodian lunch.
Get your fix before you head into the park.
