Yes. We've chosen a beautiful outdoor location with incredible views. The high desert is warm during the day and cool at night (expect mid-low 60s), so please make sure to bring something warm to wear once the sun has set.
We want you to come dressed as your chicest, coolest, most fabulous self! Think 'cocktail attire' but make it desert. A cute sun or maxi dress, chinos with a shirt and bold tie, a cool jumpsuit... just keep in mind that it will be warm during the day and cool when the sun goes down, so a cover-up is essential. And leave those stilettos at home! This is the desert.
It is, thanks for asking ;-) We'd love to keep this moment as intimate as possible; therefore we ask that you rest your phone and/or camera while our photographers, Ben and Kadin, capture the ceremony. We'll make sure you get the images later. Feel free to whip your phone out once the ceremony is over!
Duh. #PricklyPaired2019 You know, like the cactus?
We'd love to see your shots from the whole weekend. We've set up an account with the app The Guest. Download the app and find us under the event code DEVONANDVANESSA2019. From October 4th-11th you'll be able to share photos from the wedding weekend and also see others'! One tip: turn off auto-share if you don't want to share ALL of your photos ;-) Here’s the link to our event: http://in.veri.com/to/devonandvanessa2019
Please don't rely on your GPS. You'll lose cell service somewhere along Pioneertown Road, so be prepared with these directions. Directions from Yucca Valley, Hwy 62: Take Pioneertown Road north. Slow down when you see the wooden sign for Pioneertown. Turn right onto Skyline Ranch Drive and proceed 1.7 miles to Hakataya Road. Turn left at the large stone monument sign for Hakataya Drive. Proceed to the end of the road. Coming from the opposite direction on Pioneertown Road: Drive a bit past Pioneertown and Pappy & Harriet's, then make a left onto Skyline Ranch Drive. From there follow the directions above.
Don’t rely on either. The desert is a pretty remote area and service is spotty. WiFI at our wedding venue is quite weak. Please make sure to plan your driving routes out in advance.
Yes.
You can, but you might not be able to get one to take you home. WiFi at the venue is very weak and cell service is non-existent. We recommend driving or taking a shuttle.
For those of you staying at or near the Best Western in Yucca Valley, we will be providing a shuttle to the wedding venue on Saturday.
We adore your kids! But this is a kid-free wedding, so consider it a night off.
It would make our lives so much easier if you could RSVP as soon as you know whether you'll be joining us or not. We'd appreciate all RSVPs by August 19th at the latest.
