Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be parking available at the ceremony venue only. We request you take the provided shuttles between the ceremony and reception venues.

Is there transportation provided to and from the hotels?

Answer

There will be no provided transportation from the hotels prior to the ceremony, however, you are welcome to leave your vehicle at the church overnight. Please collect them by 9:00 AM Sunday to respect the morning church service. Beginning at 8PM, the shuttles will begin running back into town. The last shuttle will leave the Lake House at 11:00PM. They will have two drop-off locations: - Mackinaw City Marina for those wishing to leave their car overnight at the church - Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (ceremony venue)

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal and/or cocktail attire preferred. Cocktail, midi or maxi dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates are perfect. Suits or dress slacks with a button-up shirt and blazer or sport coat. Ties are optional. Feel free to embrace the forest theme with earth or autumn tones, nature/floral prints, or nature-inspired accessories, but it’s not required. (Wedding party will be in dark olive green and rust). Opt for sturdy shoes and bring a layer in case of an evening chill for the reception.

Will there be fireworks?

Answer

Prepare for a full-on show! We wanted to end the night in a way that felt true to us: outside, under the stars, with something a little wild and magical. It’s our way of saying thank you for being part of this special day—and kicking off forever with a bang! If you are sensitive to loud sounds or bright flashes, please keep this in mind as we round out the night. The shuttles will be running during this time.

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

We love your children, but we've decided to make our wedding an adult-only event. Please only bring those who are specifically listed on your invitation.
