It all began in a Walmart parking lot in Myrtle Beach. 
 Devin and Shannon met in September 2019 while both playing in the slowpitch softball World Series. For those that weren’t there- Shannon called this engagement long before anyone by claiming “well if this isn’t wifey material… idk what is” after taking care of a sick Devin during one of the last nights of the tournament. 
 Although there’s debate on which was the official first date, their love story really kicked off with a couple of free tickets to a Notre Dame football game (and an ND win! 😉) Since then, they’ve embarked on a whirlwind adventure of a lifetime together- from ice climbing, mountain climbing, northern lights chasing, winter camping, backpacking, and everything in between. “What trip do you have planned next?!” is without a doubt the #1 question asked.
