When should I RSVP?

ASAP, please! Final RSVPs and your room bookings must be complete by August 16th.

When do I need to book my room?

Answer

Earlier the better, but rooms should be booked by August 16th, 2024. If for some reason you may need more time, please reach out to Devina or Kannov. Please note, guests must stay a minimum of three (3) nights to receive the room block rate. Additional information can be found under the "Resort Booking" tab.

Can I stay longer?

Answer

Absolutely! Come early, leave late! Wedding events take place from December 8th, 2024 - December 10th, 2024, but rooms are blocked from Friday, Dec 6th, 2024 - Thurs, Dec 12th, 2024 if you want to extend your stay! Please book your rooms through the provided link under the "Resort Booking" tab. If you want to stay before or after the room block dates, please contact: groups1@grupolomas.com and let them know you are part of our wedding party.

Can I book a different hotel or place my booking somewhere else?

Answer

No, sorry! In order to access the wedding venues, you will need to book through our hotel room block, under the "Resort Booking" tab. Per the resort, guests who do not book with the provided link will not be able to attend events. Please plan to stay at the resort for wedding event days.

What's the difference between the 3 resorts?

Answer

All three all-inclusive resorts are in the same gated area and merge into each other--there are no barriers between them, and there is no access to them from any other resort. There are shuttles that go between various stops of each of the hotels that come around every 10 minutes. It takes around 25 to 30 minutes to go from one end of the resort to the other by foot, though by shuttle, it should take about 5-7 minutes. As for booking, each resort has its benefits, and is priced differently, so it's up to you! The Generations resort is the only resort that allows for kids, so we do ask that if you are bringing your little ones, you book at Generations. The Casitas are blocks of rooms that surround a single pool. So its semi private pool and bar access The Royale rooms come at a very attractive price point and where we have the majority of our room block. We suggest these rooms since who actually spends time in their room when in beautiful Mexico?!

How Do I Get to the Resort?

Devina and Kannov will be providing transportation from Cancun Airport to the resort based on majority flight arrivals. Once your flights are booked, please send your flights details to groupres@lomashospitality.com so we can help organize travel to/from Cancun Airport. Please ensure that flight information is shared at least 15 days prior to arrival.

What are the VISA requirements for travel to Mexico?

Answer

All guests will require a valid passport for travel. Please make sure you check those expiration dates! Mexico has NO VISA REQUIREMENT for US Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form (Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane or once you land. The Tourist Card is per person regardless of age. Once you get to immigration and customs at Cancún airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important that you keep the FMM Form secure until you leave Mexico. You will not be able to exit the country without that form. Do I need to wear Indian attire?

Answer

You do not need to wear Indian clothes! However, if you are thinking "Hey, when else will I get the chance to wear Indian clothes?", below are some great places where you can purchase or rent Indian attire.
