We met on a dating app called Hinge in early January, 2021. Landen messaged Devan, "Hi Devan, I'd devanitely take you out on a date", and Devan replied "Not bad... You took a leap with that one, but I'd say you stuck the landen!" And the rest was history! Our first date a week later was spent social distancing at a park in the middle of the pandemic. We spent 4 hours just talking on the grass and eating take out tacos. Our next few dates consisted of outdoor hikes, kayaking in the harbor, beach picnics, and truly just getting to know each other. We both knew pretty early on that this was it! Landen asked Devan to be his girlfriend officially on February 28th, 2021. We said I love you for the first time on April 6th, 2021 while watching the sunset in Big Bear (Devan said it first)! We moved into our first apartment together in March of 2023, and love being pet parents to our sweet but crazy kitties. Landen proposed to Devan in front of a castle in Scotland on August 26th, 2024, and it was a magical day! Over the last five years, we have traveled to so many places, laughed a lot, spent time with each other's friends & families, and experienced some amazing new memories together. We are very excited to take the next step in our relationship to become husband and wife and create so many more memories together!
