Things To Do

Here's our guide to the perfect weekend in Seattle! Seattle is a great city to explore, set between the mountains and the water, with plenty to see and do in a short amount of time. Whether you have a full weekend or just a few free hours, we hope you get a chance to explore a bit and enjoy the neighborhoods, food, and views that make the city so special to us.

Visit Mount Rainier National Park

Ashford, WA

Visit Mount Rainier National Park for an easy, unforgettable day trip (~2hr drive, one-way) from Seattle. The Paradise area offers breathtaking mountain views, wildflower meadows, and scenic trails with options for both short strolls and longer hikes! For those looking for similar views without breaking a sweat, you can take the scenic gondola ride to the top of nearby Crystal Mountain to access panoramic views of Mount Rainier.

Explore the Seattle Waterfront

1401 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98101

Walk the newly renovated Seattle waterfront—it’s full of great spots to sit, grab coffee, and enjoy the Puget Sound. From there, it's an easy walk right up to Pike Place Market for that quintessential Seattle trip!

Neighborhood Farmer's Market

If you have some downtime, we highly recommend checking out a neighborhood farmers market—Ballard and Fremont are our favorites and offer a great snapshot of local Seattle life. From Ballard, you can easily walk to the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks to watch boats pass through, or continue on to Golden Gardens Park for beautiful water and mountain views.

Ballard Brewery Crawl

1108 NW 52nd St, Seattle, WA 98107

We're calling it: Seattle hands down has the best beer scene (sorry, Boston!). You can easily test that claim in the Ballard Brewery District where you can recreate our first date at Stoup! From there, you are within a quarter-mile radius of a serious lineup, including Reubens, Urban Family, Bale Breaker & Yonder, Obec, Great Notion, and Fair Isle—perfect for a walking crawl!
