The story begins on January 22, 2022 at Ashley and Adrian's Wedding. Luis was there with his group of friends, and Paula was a bridesmaid who just wanted to dance and have fun - so she did! Four months later, their paths crossed again at Ashley's baby shower (the same bride from the wedding), and once again, Paula was ready to enjoy the moment. That time, they exchanged social media handles and began messaging each other soon after. About a month later on May 13, 2022, they went on their first date - he took her to Stonehaus in Westlake, CA. That night, they realized how much they had in common and how inseparable they were, both laughing as they said "You're literally the female/male version on myself" (let's not forget they're both Leo's). They raised their glasses of wine and toasted to more dates, their future, and most importantly - to them. Luis and Paula focused on building a strong friendship, and before long, they became each other's best friend - always there through the most difficult moments, but also celebrating life's best ones together. As the years passed, their love and bond only grew deeper, and on Valentine's Day of 2024, Luis made it official by asking Paula to be his girlfriend (FINALLY). Since then, they've shared countless adventures: traveling, going to concerts (especially when it comes to Luis Miguel), watching movies (Pau’s choice of chick-flicks), binge-watching Netflix series, taking cheesy photoshoots, becoming Disney Annual Pass Holders, attending sports events, but most importantly growing their faith together with God by attending Sunday Mass.

Luis y Paula se enfocaron en construir una fuerte amistad, y pronto se convirtieron en mejores amigos - siempre ahí el uno para el otro en los momentos más difíciles, pero también celebrando juntos los mejores. Con el paso de los años, su amor y su conexión solo se hicieron más profundos, y el Día de San Valentín de 2024, Luis lo hizo oficial al pedirle a Paula que fuera su novia (POR FIN). You may be wondering how he got Paula there dressed up with a beautiful dress, nails done, hair and makeup done...Well, the plan was that they were going to have another one of their cheesy photoshoots! The moment was romantic and heartfelt in every way. From the breathtaking beach view to the mariachi playing the first song Luis ever dedicated to Paula, "Si Nos Dejan", every detail was perfect - the setup, roses, candles, their closest family and friends, and all the little touches that made it unforgettable. He got on one knee, asked, and she SAID YES! Paula was in complete shock, and her ring is absolutely stunning. She could have never imagined a more beautiful engagement ring, let alone such a magical proposal. She loved every second of it and will forever cherish that moment - the one where she finally felt like she got her "Happily Ever After."

Luis decidió regresar al lugar donde tuvieron su primera sesión de fotos como pareja: ¡Mandalay Beach! Tal vez te preguntes cómo logró que ella llegara con un hermoso vestido, uñas arregladas, con el cabello y el maquillaje perfectos… bueno, el plan era que tendrían otra de sus típicas sesiones de fotos de pareja. El momento fue romántico y lleno de emoción en todos los sentidos. Desde la vista impresionante de la playa, hasta el mariachi tocando la primera canción que Luis le había dedicado a Paula, “Si Nos Dejan”, cada detalle fue perfecto: la decoración, rosas, velas, sus familiares y amigos más cercanos, y todos esos pequeños toques que lo hicieron inolvidable. Cuando Luis se arrodillo y le pidió matrimonio, ¡ella dijo que SI! Paula estaba completamente sorprendida, y su anillo es simplemente espectacular. Nunca en su vida habría imaginado un anillo de compromiso más hermoso, ni una propuesta tan mágica.
