What should I wear to the wedding?
Answer

Answer
We ask that guests please wear white. Ladies, please wear a white dress or nice white outfit. Gentlemen, we request that you wear either white or beige. Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
The names listed on your invitation are of those that are invited. In order to keep our dream of an intimate wedding, we ask that you do not bring anyone other than those named on your invitation.

When/How should I get my passport?
Answer

Do I need Euros?
Answer
Most businesses accept international credit cards, but we recommend bringing Euros just in case! Most banks can exchange USD for Euros, but we recommend doing this at least two weeks in advance, as some banks may be low on Euros around this time of year and need to order them. If you decide to not bring euros and just use your credit card, please ensure you contact your bank at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival in Italy!

What days am I expected to be in Lake Como?
Answer
We have booked some fun activities for our guests throughout the weekend. We ask that if you can, please arrive in Lake Como on or before June 10th. The day after the wedding, on June 13th, Garrett and Ellie will leave for their honeymoon, so there are no more wedding activities after the wedding. All activities, other than the wedding itself, are optional, but we would love to have you there!

Will there be a gift table at the wedding?
Answer
Short answer- no. We appreciate all of the enthusiasm we received when sharing with our friends and family that we want a destination wedding, and we know that traveling to Italy is not a small expense. Though we have a registry, we do not expect any gifts, so there will not be a gift table at the wedding.

Do I need to book my own flight and stay?
Answer
Yes, we ask that all guests book their own accommodations so that they can choose their own budget for the trip. We have suggestions on our "Travel" page for hotel and AirBNB suggesitons

Do I need a converter?
Answer
YES!!! Please bring multiple converters with you, and ensure that your electronics are adaptable. You don't want to blow a fuse and be without electricity!

What do I do about cell service?
Answer
The first time I went abroad, I kept my phone in airplane mode and only used WiFi, which is highly accessible throughout Europe. This is definitely an option, but I recommend contacting your provider about international options, so you have access to your map and the internet if needed.
