What areas should we stay in?

Answer

Any neighborhoods near the venue are mostly residential areas. We have some suggestions for specific neighborhoods that might have more options in the travel tab. Looking in the northern suburbs of Skokie and Evanston are also good options as there are some hotels and airbnbs up there. That would be about 30 minutes from the church.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our color palette for the day is burnt orange and olive green, which will be represented in our wedding party’s attire. Guests are welcome to wear colors representative of the fall season (our favorite) or whatever they feel best in! Comfort is key. There are no expectations for attire beyond feeling like yourself (and possibly being able to break it down on the dance floor).

What parking is available near the venue?

Answer

Wedding guests will have access to the parking lot that is at the end of the alley West of the church (turn left directly before 1912 W Leland Ave). *look for a lawn sign pointing down the alley ** If you park in the parking lot at the end of the alley, please grab a slip of paper to put in your dash window. These will be provided at the welcome table in the foyer of the church. This ensures that the school security guard will not have your car towed while you are celebrating with us. Though there is a small church parking lot, this will be reserved specifically for the wedding party, family, and vendors. There is also street parking in front of the school on N Wolcott Ave that is available first come, and parking on neighboring streets that require permits (park at your own risk). Ultimately, guests are encouraged to utilize the free reserved parking provided by the neighboring school.
