Celebrating the union of...

Brennan and Desirae met through a mutual friend at their undergraduate university. After meeting freshman year and then losing touch, Brennan and Desirae were brought back together at a student ministry meeting in the fall of their junior year. As the fall semester passed, Desirae was involved in various choral events, after which her and Brennan would grab dinner and talk for hours. In December of 2021, after many conversations and catching up on the years that were missed, Desirae beat Brennan to the punch and asked him to go on a date with her. Brennan's response to this was, "I was going to ask you on a date tonight!" And the rest is history... right? In recent years, through professional pursuits and both diving into graduate degree programs at The University of Chicago (Brennan his Masters in Hebrew Bible and Desirae her Master's in Social Work), Brennan and Desirae have grown to call Chicago home. They have built community together in attending Chicago Northside Church of the Nazarene, with peers at UChicago, and through many game nights and RPG sessions. Brennan and Desirae are overjoyed to welcome you to their wedding as they step into the next chapter of their lives and eagerly anticipate all the adventures that are yet to come. ~~~ From near or far, we hope that you are able to join us in celebrating our love in the city that has become so special to us.
