Matron of Honor
Less than two years apart, Kaylee is my favorite (and only) sister! The wedding planning arena is the only time I got to learn from her mistakes versus the other way around. Kaylee is the most steady, caring person in my life and has always been a friend to me no matter how mean I was to her as we were growing up. I thank God every day that he gave me a sister that is so different but so similar to me in all the right ways. There is no way I would have survived this long without her. Since she has been there for it ALL it only makes sense for her to be my Matron of Honor.
Best Man
It wasn’t always easy growing up with Ben. We would bicker and we would fight. But I always looked up to him and the way he approaches every day with a passion that stretches to the core of who he is. In hindsight I’m thankful that when it came down to it i never had to wonder if he would be there for me if I needed it. I wouldn’t trade our relationship for anything and am thankful to have him as my brother.
Maid of Honor
E is my Maid of Honor and best friend - but no one saw this friendship coming. We are such different people (as evidenced by the amount of times I roll my eyes at her) but God placed us together as roommates while working on Word of Life Island. After completing our year at the Bible Institute, we were inseparable and had the amazing opportunity to counsel together that summer. She is the first person I call if I need to cry and we have been through countless life changes and way too much boy drama together. She is always there for me, even if it means letting me borrow her shirt for a quick photo shoot after a proposal that I didn't see coming... lol. I am eternally grateful for her friendship over these past 4 years, and I can confidentially say that I have the best Maid of Honor.
Groomsman
The first real friend I made in college, we went through most of college as roommates, and the years have brought many late nights and good conversations. He’s the one that got the pleasure of enduring Emily and I’s long phone conversations, and I couldn’t have asked for a better roommate. I’m thankful to have the privilege of learning and benefitting from the drive he brings to life and the intentionality he brings to his friendships, and I look forward to him standing with me.
Bridesmaid
Lea was there from the very beginning of my relationship with Josh. I met her while working at Camp-of-the-Woods exactly one week before I met Josh. Throughout the summer, she was the first person I told that Josh had held my hand for the first time, and the one I freaked out with when I was nervous for the DTR conversation. Lea stuck with me the entire summer and has put in the effort to maintain our long-distance friendship. She goes above and beyond for her friends and family. She is a constant friend and is one of the most intentional people I know. I am honored to have her by my side at the wedding.
Groomsman
Besides teaching me more about fish than I could ever hope to know, Derek is always willing to talk. He has a positive yet realistic outlook on life, and he will listen before speaking into a situation with truth and kindness. Many an hour was spent over the years finding things we were had similar skill (or lack thereof) for. Whether we’re competing to see who’s the best at euchre or the worst at basketball, I greatly appreciate his friendship and influence in my life.
Bridesmaid
How lucky am I to be gaining two new sisters! Hannah is Josh's younger (middle) sister and one of the most determined people you will meet! She excels at everything she does and always manages to do so with grace and poise (I mean, have you heard this girl sing?!?). She is intelligent and kind and her laugh fills the room with joy. Not gonna lie, I may have been pretty intimidated by her at first... but she was gracious enough to welcome me to the family in her own unique ways. I am so excited to have her stand with me at the wedding.
Groomsman
Since we met freshman year, Ford has always been a tight part of my friend group in college. Whether he’s trying to get me to try new foods, sharing his broad expanse of knowledge, or beating me in basketball, he works hard to accomplish what he sets his mind to. I’m thankful he’s a friend and glad he can be there on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Leah is Josh's youngest sister and is one of the most fun people to be around. She cares for her friends and is so committed in everything she does. Little kids LOVE her and she has a gift of being so kind to them. She is going places folks, this is not your average teenager. Just like her sister, I was very intimidated by her at first, but she quickly showed me that it was unwarranted and made me feel comfortable right away. So glad she is a part of our big day!

Not only can he grow a beard that I can only be jealous of, Scott has style to spare. The man pulls off the hat watch combo better than most. With that style comes a unique skillset in photography/ cinematography, and a lot of talent. Yet one thing that Scott always brings along with that talent is humility. I’m glad that soon I’ll be able to call him my brother-in-law.

With a great name and a wit to match, Josh is always good to brighten up a mood. He has a way of uniting people who otherwise may not be friends by being someone who isn’t concerned with the superficial. Beyond his wit is a talent for everything theatrical, an ability to spin a new perspective on any situation, and a dominance in banana-grams (or any other game). I’m looking forward to having Josh as a brother-in-law.
