Auger Falls
This quick one mile hike is great for anyone looking to get a little dose of nature while you are up for the weekend. This also happens to have been one of the stops on Josh and Emily's first official date! Please note that there will be no cell service in this area. However, there are signs for the trail right along RT-30. Just keep your eyes peeled!
Timberline Cafe & Bakery
Looking for a cup of coffee? We HIGHLY recommend this wonderful little cafe! While it can get very crowded, they have great food for lunch and breakfast as well as refreshing specialty drinks. While you are there, be sure to grab a cinnamon bun! We think they should be world famous.
Sunrise Diner
You will get the true small town diner experience at sunrise. While it may appear to be a hole in the wall, they have some yummy and affordable breakfast options! This diner is a part of the DeRitter family, Camp-of-the-Woods vacation tradition.

Speculator Town Beach
Take a quick dip at the town beach! Lake Pleasant is one of the warmest lakes in the Adirondacks since it is so shallow. However, it is June, so temperature may be very subjective...
Sacandaga Park And River Walk
Nice-and-easy walk through the woods. You will find the trail entrance at the tree line behind the baseball field.
Oxbow Inn
Great pizza! Great views! A short drive from Speculator. OxBow Inn is where we had our first real date!
Panther Mountain (Echo Cliffs)
1.6 mile (round trip) hike and a great view! The directions are for the trail-head, but keep in mind there is no cell service there. This is where we first knew there was something more between us. We highly recommend this fun little hike!
