Montjuïc Magic Fountain
Located at the end of the Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina just below the Palau Nacional. Metro line L1 or L3 to "Espanya" stop The fountain jets and colors are synchronized to music Wednesday to Sunday, from 9.30pm to 10.30pm.
PARK GÜELL
The park has 2 or 3 different entrances, so depending on where you are coming from one may be more convenient than another. There is a shuttle bus from the Alfons X metro stop that is included with your ticket purchase. You can walk about 20 minutes from the L3 line Lesseps or Vallcarca stops This is a beautiful park with sculptures, mosaics, and a path to the Three Crosses (Tres Creus) that gives an incredible view of the entire city. Some parts of the park are open with free admission, but other areas require ticket reservation. Each adult ticket is 10€ and availability depends on time of year.
Tibidabo
Open Wednesday Through Sunday 11am-6pm. A park high on the mountains of Barcelona with rides and wonderful views of the city Adult tickets: Amusement park 28.50 €, Panoramic area 12.70 €
SAGRADA FAMÍLIA
Metro lines L2 or L5 to Sagrada Familia Tickets range from 17 to 32€ depending on access to special areas and the museum; there are also group options for 10+ people. Most Sundays they hold an international mass open to the public at 9am, check the website to confirm.
La Pedrera
A home with multiple apartments within in that once housed a high school, built in the early 1900s for a bourgeoisie couple and designed by Antoni Gaudi Tickets 22-29€, but if you reserve early morning "awakening" tickets, they are free. Open 9am-8:30; night tours 9-11pm.
CASA BATLLÓ
Metro L2, L3 or L4 to Masseig de Gracia stop Another beautifully designed and built antique home. Tickets 25-39€ depending on what else is included; additional 4€ if purchased at the door. Open 9am-9pm
Mercado de La Boqueria
A busy and beautiful market with numerous local and international products. In addition to fresh products there are restaurant stands and some vendors also serve their products cooked and ready to eat. Hours: 8am-8:30pm
La Rambla
A 1.2km long stretch of a beautiful walkway with vendors, artists, and street performers. It spans from Plaça Catalunya to Port Vell (the old Barcelona port). La Boqueria is located on this main street. This is a busy tourist areas, so be vigilant of your belongings, especially large purses/bags and valuable items in your back pockets.
