We thought it would be fitting to recreate our first date with these photos. It was 2020 & Derick asked Bri to go on a "social distanced" picnic with only one condition...Basil had to join. We walked to Maru in Grand Rapids, Michigan to pickup sushi to-go. After eating on a nearby bench and enjoying our time together, we didn't want it to end. Derick took Bri for a drive to the lakeshore to watch the sunset at the beach. Little did we know at the time, this beach would be minutes away from where the two of us would plant roots, settle into our first home and decide to spend our lives together forever.
