Derick & Bri met in Grand Rapids, Michigan a few years after both graduating from Grand Valley State University. Prior to their relationships beginning, Bri had upcoming plans to move to Chicago to be closer to friends and family. Derick decided to join her on this voyage where the two would make countless memories with friends, experience new careers, eventually move-in together and welcome their second dog into the pack over the course of their time there. After saying goodbye to the city and hello to homeownership in Spring Lake, Michigan, it wasn't long after till Derick dropped down on one knee at Muskegon Brewing Company surrounded by friends. We have enjoyed settling into our first house together and we're looking forward to having our favorite people celebrate with us in the area we now call home. While we know this is a trek for many, it is the middle point for our two families. If you're not able to join us, we understand, but know we love you!
